On Friday, I had lunch at Eat Fresh Be Healthy (185 Dundas Street West), a small restaurant within walking distance of the Eaton Centre. This was my second time here (this place is always fully packed the couple of times I’ve tried to come here for dinner!) and EFBH continues to serve up some creatively presented prix-fixe menus by Chef Dan. :)
Lunch is only $20 and this is what I ordered:
ROASTED BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP
with toasted pumpkin seeds
So simple and so delicious! Great blend of flavours and start to my meal.
CAJUN BLACKENED SALMON
topped with fresh fruit salsa
This was a really popular dish during lunch – the waitress told me everyone that day had ordered this as their main. I love how beautifully this dish is presented! :) It really doesn’t look like a lot, but it’s really filling. The flavours are all incredible, too – this is definitely not a boring dish with the combination of the salmon, fruits, mashed potato, and vegetables.
ESPRESSO PANNA COTTA
I loved this! The espresso was sweet and strong, and I was happy to have the small fruit servings to accompany it.
I’m glad Eat Fresh Be Healthy has gotten such great reviews on TripAdvisor, Yelp, and UrbanSpoon. The food is delicious, well-presented, and affordable. The service is also attentive and the setting is pretty intimate. The menu offered also changes seasonally and with their Winterlicious/Summerlicious offerings!
