Vietnamese Delight

Kevin and I stopped by Vietnamese Delight (5533 Yonge Street) for a quick lunch in North York. This small and homey restaurant is a short walk from Finch station next to the H-Mart. Its store front has a blue sign with a cute cartoon-cow-mascot, haha.

HOUSE SPECIAL BEEF NOODLE SOUP

Kevin ordered the house special pho, which was good. Really doesn’t stand out next to other pho that I’ve had or even in the area, but good enough value for its price.

LEMONGRASS PORK CHOP WITH RICE
$6.25

I ordered one of the lunch specials (L3, to be exact) which came with a fried spring roll and a choice of soda or soy milk. We had also been served some hot tea while we decided on what we were ordering. Again with this dish, nothing particularly worth noting, but great portion size for its price and good flavour. I actually enjoyed it more than the pho. It wasn’t very busy and service was pretty fast.
